    Located approximately 5 minutes' walk from the Fuketsu of Mt. Sobo, the fantastic Ryokan Shinsen Takachiho offers 9 rooms with views of the courtyard. The 5-star smoke-free ryokan is a good starting point for exploring Takachiho, including the Kushifuru Shrine, which is just 550 metres away.

    The Amano Yasugawara is not far from this Takachiho hotel, while the Kaguraden is nestled only an 8-minute walk away. The Ryokan Shinsen Takachiho is also around 2 km from such natural sights as the Takachiho Gorge. The accommodation is situated just moments from Takachiho Shrine, and Takachiho Center bus station lies a mere 5 minutes' stroll away. For those travelling from afar, Kumamoto airport is 54 minutes' drive away.
